Plantar Fasciitis on a Budget
If you do not have the money to buy my book and fix the pain (or you cannot afford to buy expensive shoes/athletic tape etc), I suggest following these steps:
1. Read this article to give you an introduction to plantar fasciitis and why it is so hard to beat: Plantar Fasciitis Article
2. Release the muscles in the calf: Trigger Point Release
3. Do the scraping tutorial to release the fascia: Plantar Fasciitis Scraping Tutorial
4.Master the dynamic release and fascia release in steps 2/3. Watch the videos on this page to get an idea of how to master these skills: Plantar Fasciitis Techniques
5. Do these for at least 2 weeks. You should have a drop of about 20%-30% decrease in pain. If you have not had this decrease in pain, you need to keep practicing the dynamic release and scraping techniques. When you have this decrease in pain, move to step 6.
6. Time to start kinetic chain stretches. Check them out here: Plantar Fasciitis Stretching Guide
7. Continue all of the methods daily until desired results are achieved.
I understand that plantar fasciitis treatments are not cheap. I hope this "to-do list" can really help you guys out who can't afford the usual treatments. I know how much it sucks when your in pain because you do not have enough money to fix yourself.
