Morton's Toe Treatment

Having morton's toe means that the toe next to the big toe, is longer than the big toe. Some doctors say that this causes every problem in the book, from knee pain to fibromyalgia. There are entire books written on morton's toe by credible doctors. Obviously this problem needs to be addressed. If you do not fix it, it can cause further problems. Luckily, this problem is extremely easy to fix! It is overlooked by many doctors, and I do not understand why.
Morton's toe is pretty common too. It is found in 15-20% of the population.

Here are some problems that morton's toe can cause:
- Excessive pronation/Ankle instability
- Chronic foot pain
- Shin Splints
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Chondromalacia
- Myofascial pain syndrome
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic joint or muscle pain in back/hips/knee/ankle
Step 1: Mortons toe pad or extension
These are cheap and work great. You can make them at home. Simply find a small foam/felt cushion and place it under the first metatarsal joint, or the "ball of your foot". There are many of "DIY" tutorials online on how to make your own. If you want a specific device, and not just a small cushion (which will work for most) check out a morton's toe extension.
Step 2: Wear Wide/Flat Shoes
Walking and standing in a shoe with a narrow toe box will make things worse. Try to find a wide and flat shoe that accommodates for your natural foot shape. Head on over to my shoe recommendations on the bottom the page in the link below:

Step 3: Take P5P (active form of B6)
If you have morton's toe, you will more than likely have a B6 deficiency. This is because your body cannot convert the B6 that you consume from your diet, into its active form that is used by the body. This will cause you to have a B6 deficiency, regardless of how much you consume in your diet. Morton's toe is a developmental problem resultant of this B6 conversion problem.
Having a B6 deficiency can cause these problems:
Do any of these problems sound familiar? If so, you really need to get some B6 into your body that you can actually use. Do not take a B6 supplement, or "b-vitamin complex" and expect it to help. It won't. You need the activated form of B6 called P5P. This is the only form that your body can use.
Having a B6 deficiency can cause these problems:
- Anemia
- Skin/Hair/Nail problems
- Depression/Anxiety
- Nerve damage
- Pain syndrome development
- Systemic Inflammation
- Circulation problems, including oxygen transport
- Hormone Issues
- Seizures
