Plantar Fasciitis Braces
(I Make A Commission For Purchases Made Through The Links Below)

Wearing a brace for a short time is a wonderful idea if you have severe heel pain. It will offer some degree of "instant pain relief" without the use of drugs/ice. The compressive force will push waste products out of the tissues (which are causing your heel pain not to heal).

Keep in mind that a brace does not fix the root causes of plantar fasciitis. The brace will force the bones into a more static position, which will cause the joints to be more stable, which will take strain off the plantar fascia. This treatment is a great idea if you have severe plantar fasciitis, but it should not be depended on to fix your pain entirely.

A brace should be worn while you sort out the root cause of your plantar fasciitis. Many people are using plantar fasciitis braces as an alternative to athletic taping. Taping is a more effective way to brace the foot bones, but it can become very expensive. Buying rolls of athletic tape every week and applying it everyday can cost a lot of money and time. Applying a heel pain brace takes literally seconds, and you only need to buy it one time.

You must understand that a lot of these "plantar fasciitis braces" are complete rip offs!! Because similar companies can manufacture similar products, they try to sell people tight fitting socks instead of an actual compressive/supportive brace. Many of the rip-off braces rank well on amazon and they are very cheap, but they will waste your time. The two below will give you real support and compression.

Most popular heel pain brace:

Recently I bought nearly every compression brace on amazon. I really didn't like the material or the compression of most of the braces. Many of them were too long, and put too much restriction on the metatarsals. They prevented the transverse arch of the foot from being mobile. This brace is the best, in my opinion because it gives  lot of support where it is needed most, in the rear of the foot. This will allow the front of the foot to still move, which we really need.

When I first received this brace, I stopped using my other braces. I cannot recommend this brace more. Check out by clicking below:

Second Best Option:

This brace is cheaper than the one above and gives good support. I still recommend the one above, but if you are on a budget, give this one a shot.
